WPA Posters in Hi-Res!
From 1936 to 1943, the Works Progress Administration produced hundreds of posters about all sorts of subjects. These posters are classic examples of poster art, combing the best of graphic design and illustration with noble civic purpose (even if they may seem a bit quaint and even naive by our standards).
